Modular Kitchen Design in Hyderabad.
German-hardware modular kitchens with tailored ergonomics, hardwearing surfaces and finishes that age gracefully.
The kitchen is the most engineered room in the house, and the one that shows wear first. We design around the cook — counter heights, the reach to the overhead, where the wet and dry zones sit — and specify hardware and surfaces that will still close cleanly in ten years.
Carcasses, shutters, counters and appliances are specified as one system, chosen for the way your household actually cooks. Indian cooking is hard on a kitchen — high heat, oil, tadka smoke, heavy vessels, a lot of water — and every choice below is made with that in mind.
The process, step by step.
- 01
How you cook
Who cooks, how often, for how many, and what you store. A household that cooks three meals a day for six needs a different kitchen from one that mostly reheats.
- 02
Layout and ergonomics
Counter height set to the main cook, the hob-sink-fridge triangle resolved, wet and dry zones separated, and the reach to the top shelf checked with you standing in the room.
- 03
Shutter, counter and hardware selection
Samples in your hand, not on a screen: shutter finish, counter stone, handle or handleless, and the drawer system for each unit.
- 04
Factory manufacture
Carcasses and shutters are made in our Hyderabad workshop to measured drawings while the site is prepared: plumbing, electrical points and chimney duct in the right places.
- 05
Installation
Fitted by our own team in a concentrated window of days, counter templated and installed, appliances connected, and every drawer and shutter adjusted before handover.
What we build it from.
TimelineDesign and selection usually takes two to three weeks. Manufacture runs three to four weeks after drawings are signed, in parallel with site preparation, and installation is typically five to eight working days. A complete modular kitchen from first meeting to handover is commonly six to eight weeks.
- Carcass
- BWP (boiling water proof) plywood throughout, because a kitchen carcass lives next to a sink and a dishwasher for twenty years.
- Shutters
- Acrylic or PU for a gloss finish, laminate for hardwearing matte, membrane or veneer where you want warmth. Each has a place; we tell you which and why.
- Counters
- Quartz for stain resistance, granite for heat, with the edge profile, thickness and undermount sink cut-out on the drawing.
- Hardware
- Hettich or Hafele soft-close hinges, tandem drawer boxes, corner carousels and tall-unit pull-outs rated for real loads.
- Splashback and lighting
- Full-height stone or large-format tile behind the hob; under-cabinet LED strip so you are never cutting in your own shadow.
What drives the price.
We quote the full scope in writing before work begins — design, materials, labour, transport and handover — as line items you can read. No percentage-on-top surprises, and outstation travel appears as its own line rather than inside the rates.
- Running length of base and wall units, and whether there is an island or tall-unit wall
- Shutter finish — laminate, acrylic, PU or veneer — is the biggest single swing
- Counter material and thickness
- Number of drawer units versus shutters (drawers cost more, and are worth it below counter height)
- Accessories: pull-outs, carousels, cutlery organisers, bottle pull-outs
- Appliances, which we plan for but you may buy directly
Naman Residence kitchen
A sage-green L-shaped kitchen with shaker-style uppers, a pale stone counter and splashback, a dark tall unit housing the refrigerator, and a glazed crockery cabinet that opens it to the dining room without losing the wall.
Asked before most modular kitchen projects.
- Acrylic or laminate — which lasts longer?
- Good laminate is the more forgiving surface for a heavy-use Indian kitchen; acrylic gives a mirror gloss but shows scratches. PU sits between the two. We will show you samples that have been through a year of use.
- Can you work around my existing counter and plumbing?
- Yes, if the stone is sound. We survey it, and tell you honestly if reusing it will compromise the layout.
- What warranty do we get?
- Hardware carries the manufacturer warranty; our workmanship and installation carry ours, in writing, with a number that answers.
